I have tried some of the big name Bible Software programs. They were nice. But for the several hundred dollars they cost, they should be. I don't want to muzzle the the ox,
For the Scripture says, "YOU SHALL NOT MUZZLE AN OX WHILE IT TREADS OUT THE GRAIN," and, "THE LABORER IS WORTHY OF HIS WAGES." (1 Timothy 5:18 NKJV)
But I just cannot afford that.
However, Rick Meyers has produced e-Sword and offers it for free at
www.e-sword.net It's as good , if not better than any of the big buck versions that I have tried. We can leave the big stuff to the Pastor (Make sure you pay him enough to buy his tools please!) but if you are a layman, like me, and a little behind on everything, check out e-Sword.
