I missed old Al's Concert. No
I didn't. Truth be told, I skipped it. I don't think I missed anything.
I did skim the news to look for interesting tidbits. Like the following
words of wisdom from RFK Jr. as reported in
Newsday.com
"Get rid of all these rotten politicians that we have in Washington, who are nothing more than corporate toadies," said Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the environmentalist author, president of Waterkeeper Alliance and Robert F. Kennedy's son, who grew hoarse from shouting. "This is treason. And we need to start treating them as traitors."
Wow! Pretty strong words. I thought Treason and Traitor was
reserved for those who aid and abet the enemy? Who is the enemy here?
Carbon Dioxide? Jr. must have been convinced that we are in serious
trouble by Al's movie "THE INCONVENIENT TRUTH." Personally, I'm waiting
for the
Infallible proof. As
soon as he can tell me how
my Carbon emissions are causing the polar
ice caps on Mars to melt, then I might start paying attention.
